At the Implant Centre Martinko services related to diagnosis involve the use of the modern equipment such as RVG, RTG, CT, etc ...
RVG/RADIOVISIOGRAPHY (dental intraoral radiographic examination)
The Rx, intraoral radiography is a targeted and a precise two-dimensional image that, thanks to a digital sensor, provides an exact image of the teeth and the periodontal pockets.
The occlusive and mandibular images thus obtained allow for an exact diagnosis to be made, thanks to a clarity that is unattainable with the traditional OPG. Exposure to radiation is 90% lower than with traditional radiography.
OPG (panoramic radiography)
The orthopanoramic allows us to see the whole structure of the oral cavity. Its advantages are the display of a large area, a shorter exposure to radiation, the possibility of taking pictures without opening the mouth, speed and simplicity of use.
CT (X-ray computed tomography)
A computed tomography (CT) scan uses X-rays to make detailed pictures of structures inside of the body. It combines a series of X-ray views taken from many different angles and computer processing to create cross-sectional images of the bones and soft tissues inside the body.
