ISTRIA

With its crystal blue sea, clean coast, harbours, charming fishing boats, warm narrow city streets, it is a true Mediteranian heaven.Old little towns scattered over the hills look alot like most beautiful parts of Tuscany or Provanse.

Kvarner riviera
Kvarner is coastal region conected with the mountains and woods of Gorski kotar. You can find a clash between the mild mediteranian and rough mountain climate. Glittering way of life down by the sea is alot different from life on the neighbouring mountains.
There is a 150 years of tourism tradition in Kvarner, so anyone who is looking for a hotels with the story will be happy if they come to Opatija. There is a wery strong tourist tradition in Opatija, which looks glamorous with its parks, old villas, and 12 km long pathway by the sea. Rarely you have opportunity to lie down on the beach sun tanning and be on the top of the nearby mountain hiking in the same afternoon.

Zadar
Zadar is a city on the northwest of Dalmacija. It is , a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage, a city of tourism. Zadar is irresistible for those who respect and admire historical monuments and cultural heritage. Split
Split is situated in the middle of the Dalmatian coast and it is the main city in Dalmatia. It is also the one of the largest cites in Croatia. Roman Emperor Diocletian built his palace on the site of today's Split. Diocletian's Palace is well preserved Roman palace located now in the very heart of Split. Many of Split's historical and cultural monuments are located within the walls of Diocletian's Palace.ΒΈDiocletian's Palace has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1979, and is reputed to be the best-preserved example of antiquity period imperial palaces. There are no other antiquity period imperial residences, built before or after Diocletian's palace in Split, that have preserved their original form to this extent. One of them is Peristile, the main open space in the palace with it's colonnade of six columns and the cathedral on eastern side of the squre is site not to be missed in Split.

Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is beautiful old city on the far southeast side of Dalmatian coast. The astonishing city of stone is surrounded with 1,940 m long stone walls. A tour of the worlds second most frequented open-air museum will definitely take your breath away. Visit the museums of Dubrovnik and find out where the rector of the glorious Dubrovnik Republic used to live, where grain was stored, which sailing ships formed parts of the powerful Dubrovnik Republic fleet travelling around the world, making Dubrovnik famous.
Taste some of the delicious Mediterranean specialities at the taverns and restaurants of the Old City and complete the treat with a cup of coffee in Stradun. The entire Old City is a pedestrian zone. Walking along its streets you will discover a new detail carved in stone every few steps.
